ExplorMine was subcontracted by MineRP Eurasia Madencilik Tic. Ltd. Sti. (MineRP) to complete a maiden National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report on behalf of Pinar Madencilik ve Turizm A.Ş., in support of compliance in terms of Canadian Securities Regulatory Authorities, for Pinar’s Kizilyüksek Chromite Mine located 70 km north of the city of Adana in Adana Province, Aladağ District (Karsantı), Turkey. The closest town is Aladağ and is situated 7 km southwest of the Kizilyüksek chromite opencast operations.
The dunite cumulate rocks that host the Kizilyüksek chromite mineralisation lie in the central portion of the Aladağ ophiolite complex, which trends southwest to northeast and covers approximately 1600 km2. The Kizilyüksek mineralisation zone plunges and trends from the northeast to the southwest for approximately 2.5 km. 1.5 km. The Kizilyüksek mineralisation is classed as low grade Alpine ophiolite cumulate chromite.
